Ruby Developer - Enterprise Software for Mobile Applications

Salary: $90,000
- $130,000
Are you interested in
mobile application framework for all smartphones?? This is an
exciting opportunity to work on the Backend Development for a
growing smartphone applications company: iPhone, BlackBerry, Windows
Mobile, Symbian and Android apps.
If you are a Ruby
developer with strong Backend development experience and a passion
for the mobile space, please read on!
What you need for this
position:
-
Detailed knowledge of
Ruby!
-
At least 5+ years as
a strong software developer, familiar with all aspects of the
software development life cycle
-
Experience building
scalable infrastructures
-
Cloud architectures
-
Programming
experience with Sinatra, Rack and/or Rails
-
Must be comfortable
with TDD / BDD interactive development and on time delivery
through Agile methods.
-
Linux, My SQL
-
Knowledge in Web
Development (HTML, CSS, Ajax)
-
At least one
completed Ruby or Ruby on Rails project
-
Demonstrate
self-starter, interpersonal, creative problem solving skills
-
Strong
object-oriented development experience with Java and C++
-
Knowledge of EC2 and
S3 and new server technologies
-
Some knowledge of
Javascript, HTML, CSS
-
Bachelors in Computer
Science, masters is a plus
